Garden Design Process.

Site Survey & Analysis.

A site visit where a survey of the area subject to the proposal will take place including all necessary levels, soil conditions and an inventory of all plants and features with notes on which have to be retained.

Concept Package.

Based on initial discussions, Site Survey & Analysis and the client garden checklist, concept drawings together with all necessary sketches and research literature will be produced for further discussion to ensure the final design package is appropriate.

Design Package.

Based on the confirmed Concept Package a Detailed CAD Presentation Plan will be produced in colour together with any 3D CAD drawings necessary to enable the Client to envisage the final design.

Construction Package.

Based on the Design Package all necessary construction drawings, design details and material specifications will be provided to enable competitive tendering of the landscaping works required to procure the design.

Tender Procedure.

Our services will be offered for the preparation of Competitive Tender Documentation and invitation to tender to approved Landscaping Contractors.

Planting Package.

In Conjunction with the Design / Construction Packages we will produce a planting plan which will detail all plant species, quantities, positioning and spacing requirements together with advice on immediate maintenance that may be required.

Project Inspection.

Project management will not be provided although we will be available to the appointed contractor should they require any further information or advice.   Inspection of the completed works prior to signing off by the client can be arranged to ensure the works meets with the standards of the specification documents provided.

The estimated timescale for completion of the scope of services outlined above will be four to six weeks from the receipt of the signed Confirmation of Appointment.
